Philly sports from a rational view point

phillysportsI’ve lived in Philadelphia for all of my 40 years. I understand the Philly sports fan. What I don’t get is the ranting and raving that seems to get the most publicity when it comes to our fans.  I’ve always preached patience.

  • I want Andy Reid and Donovan Mcnabb for another 10 years
  • I think that the sorrow found in losing defines the joy you get in winning (people in Cleveland are going to go mad when the Cavaliers win the title this year)
  • Uncle Charlie has a life time pass from me (I’ll still criticize)
  • I love Brian Dawkins – but his best days were behind him

Hopefully I can add to the conversation as opposed to rehashing what’s already out there.

And please – add your comments to the mix.
